Royal Enfield Meteor 650 is ready to launch in the Indian market in a powerful version, according to media reports, the company can launch this model on November 8. Let us know about 5 important things related to this bike in easy language.
Promotion in the name of Super Meteor
It will be called Super Metore 650 and as the name suggests, this bike will be powered by a 650 cc engine. The company is promoting this bike under the name of Super Meteor. This is not the first time that Royal Enfield will be using the “Super Meteor” moniker. Earlier this name was used for a motorcycle which was exported to the US between 1952 and 1962.
Super Meteor Engine
As mentioned above, Royal Enfield will use the same 648 cc, fuel-injected, four-stroke, parallel-twin motor that is used on the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. Air-oil cooled engine has been given in all these models. Its engine is capable of generating a maximum power of 47 hp and peak torque of 52 Nm.
This bike will have this new upgrade
The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 will get upgraded hardware. This bike will be the first motorcycle from Royal Enfield to come with up-side down forks at the front. However, there will still be twin gas-charged units at the rear. Braking duty will be done by disc brakes at the front and rear. Along with this, dual channel ABS will be given in it.

Super Meteor Features
In terms of features, the Super Meteor 650 will be equipped with LED headlamps and tail lamps. The switchgear will be borrowed from the J-platform motorcycle. There will be a hazard switch and the instrument cluster will also be the same as found on the Hunter 350, Meteor 350 and Scrum 411. Royal Enfield will also offer tripper navigation.
Super Meteor Price
Talking about the price and launch of Royal Enfield Super Meteor, Royal Enfield will unveil the Super Meteor on November 8 at EICMA 2022. The launch is expected in December 2022 or January 2023. The Super Meteor 650 will cost more than the existing 650 twins.
