Now the statement of the company has come out in this matter. The company said that it has fixed a software bug that was causing problems to users.
Instagram gave information about resolving the bug by tweeting
Instagram said in a tweet that it has resolved a bug that was causing problems for users accessing their accounts in different parts of the world. An Instagram spokesperson did not comment on the suspension of the accounts.
Instagram expressed regret
Several Instagram users had tweeted that they were asked for email IDs and phone numbers to access their suspended account. Instagram said in the matter that we know that some of you are having problems accessing your Instagram account. We are investigating it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

People also complained about Instagram being down through Twitter, due to which the hashtag started running in the Instagram Down trend. People complained that they were having problems logging in to their accounts. However, not all users faced these problems. In India too, only a few people faced this problem, while the rest of the accounts were running fine.
